LE RÊVE

It's been a while, since my last post. I don't know where the time goes. I have done some traveling for business conferences - in Arizona, Mexico and Las Vegas in the past few months.

Earlier this month, I was in Las Vegas where I saw one of the best shows ever, "Le Rȇve" at the Wynn Hotel.

A mystical atmosphere greeted me upon entry into the theater.  A mist of colored smoke rose from the stage.  The lighting assisted in establishing a magical mood.  A large clock with roman numerals at the side of the stage added a touch of the surreal.

Once the performance began, my jaw literally dropped open at the sights that I was beholding complemented by the music.  The stage was a pond that changed into a whirlpool of water. Performers appeared from below and flew in from above. They dove into the water from unbelievable heights - death defying acts that had people at the edge of their seats.

"Le Rȇve" is truly a dream. This aquatic and aerial extravaganza showcases the athleticism and grace of its talented performers. The production factor is another contributor to an overall awesome experience.

I had not heard of this show prior to this trip. I extended my stay in Vegas for a day in order to take in the show.  I'm glad that I did.

Between the acrobatics, a romantic tale was told. It's a story about a woman deciding between suitors for her affection.  This theater-in-the-round show provides a spellbinding experience - a veritable feast for the eyes.
